I had a dream the other night where I was naked with this hot girl and I couldn't breathe at all.

I like it means my lust is suffocating me. I would agree. I gotta do something about my lust. I've tamed it to some degree, but some days it is unbelievable how horny I get.

I tried to cut out porn for a few months, but I actually found I was even more lustful because I didn't have an outlet, especially after my girlfriend went back to Japan. A single revealing photo got my blood pumping. So, I concluded that pornography in small amounts is better than being lustful all the bloody time. It is medicinal. :P

lol, I'm sort of the same way I guess, I'm sure other people are too they just don't admit it. I mean, I've seen all the e-sangha threads where the consensus is that jerking off is a "sin", but I mean, no offense, look at most of them there, not exactly spring chickens. : )

I think tossing off is inappropriate if you're doing certain hardcore monastic trainings -- but laymen need to get laid regularly, or at least toss off lest their minds will be intoxicated with lust.

Again, I don't know where anywhere it says masturbation is inappropriate. Sexual misconduct usually refers, as far as I understand it, to sleeping around with married people and/or cheating on your spouse.
